Fun Day at Reagan

We had Fun Day at school and the theme was "The 70's."  The kids found costumes that somehow were connected to the 70's.  Brinley and Tanner went with Star Wars.  Parker was a soldier during Vietnam and Aubrey was Minnie Mouse because Disney World opened sometime in 1970.  (You have to get a little creative at times in order to follow the theme and have happy kids at the same time.  This year actually wasn't so bad, but some years are harder than others!)

Each year the PTA does an amazing job of putting on a great carnival.  There are jumpers, an obstacle course, a life size Operation game, a photo booth, a huge maze on the stage and several other booths available each year.  The kids get to go to Fun Day during their P.E. time at school.   I worked the fishing booth all morning, hung out with Aubrey and Tanner during their time for Fun Day in the afternoon, and helped clean up after school.  The kids LOVED the after school clean up because they got to do the awesome maze again and again while I took down booths and took out trash.  Overall, a very exciting day.

Tanner and Brinley (I asked Tanner to be sure and have
his picture made at the photo booth at school.  He did...
with his mask on....kind of adorable!)

We were trying to get Aub to pose w/ a hand on her hip and she
wasn't getting it, so Tanner was showing her how!

Bryn w/ her three best friends from school.  Maryam, Daisy and Breana.
When they decided to be vampires, we had already bought Brinley's costume.
Brinley, being the sweet child that she is, didn't even mention this to me until
a day before the big event.  I think it wasn't a big deal to her and she didn't
want me to worry about it one way or the other.

Our amazing principal.  She was Ms. Earth Day.  (Just a side note,
the man in the picture is the owner of the house we will be closing on this month.)

Parker and three of his football buddies who also went as Vietnam soldiers.
(Donovan, Joshua and Ayden)  Parker had a button up camo shirt, a vest,
and a hat....but he was hot and sweaty.  His make up, which Brian did, pretty
much was gone by this picture too!

Aubrey w/ her good friend Avery McKown. (The genie)

I slipped into Tanner's classroom to see how lunch was going.  There were
two other boys with his same costume, so we snapped a picture.

Aub enjoying the obstacle course.
