Today was a good day. Brinley did some returns. It is so nice that she can take care of herself when needed. We have done some shopping together for HEFY but she has also taken the initiative to gather supplies and shop as needed. (HEFY stands for Humanitarian Experiences for Youth. She is going to Brazil for two weeks.) The boys had summer workout, played a little Fortnite, worked with Brian for the afternoon and then headed to mutual for some Dodgeball. Aubrey had Activity Days and worked on her testimony and passed off all of her Articles of Faith. At 9:30 pm Bryn and I decided to go on a walk...it was a cool 95°....seriously!? We had a nice walk and talk and then wrapped up the evening (at 12:15 a.m.) with a game of Settlers of Catan with Tanner. He beat us both-the turkey.

The funnest part of our day was when Eleanor Bird (Ella) came over for a few hours this afternoon. Her 3rd birthday was earlier this month and part of her gift from us was coming over to play at our house. The boys were so excited about being home a few minutes with her before work. Park jumped on the trampoline and Tanner played magna-tiles with her. The girls, especially Aubrey, put in the real time though.
First Aub made a cute sign and drew pictures on it so Ella could pick the activities she wanted to do. We planned a dance party, story time, TV time, going out on the swing and making snow cones. Let's just say in about 30 minutes Ella had flown through that list! We had a great afternoon with little Eleanor...we all love her so much!
