August 31st-Sept 6th

Aubrey finally started school for her 8th grade year at Liahona Preparatory Academy.  She was more than ready.
Here is her room set up.  She bought her cool pen/scissor/notepad organizer on her back to school trip with Gram and Grandpa.  She spent lots of time cleaning and organizing her room last week so everything would be set up just right.
I think this picture was day two or three.  Gotta love home school...she traveled to the kitchen with her computer, notebook and pen and was enjoying a little snack.
By day four (she only goes M-Th) she was enjoying some of her classes from her bed.  So far she is pleased with her choice of trying a new school.
If looks could kill....
Aubrey and I went to the gym, and I asked Brian if he could please take a picture of Tanner on his first day to go to school on campus this year.  He was not pleased.
You can see that Brian stood about twenty feet back to take the picture.  I was disappointed, but I think Brian was just glad to be alive.  Hell hath no fury like Tanner's wrath.
Aub and I stopped by Gram and Gramp's a couple of times this week to visit.  I loved that Grandpa was eating from the gallon of Blue Bell ice cream topped with a little bit of  chocolate sauce.  I guess there is no need to get a bowl if you are the only one at your house that eats sweets.
Aaaah home school...I don't know if it will ever seem normal to see my kiddos lying around the house, half dressed, on their laptops attending school!
Park had his football photos last week.  Here are the Senior boys.  I really hope they get to play this season.  Their first game is scheduled for mid September.  Two more weeks.  We Go Mojo.
Parker, #12,  is the fourth one in on the back row.  His closest friends are #32 Austin Jacobo, #55 Cole Brannon, and #20 Harper Terry.

On Friday Brian and I went on a date to a new restaurant in town: Walk Ons.  It had Louisiana Cajun food.  The food was just okay, but I really enjoyed visiting with Brian.

Aubrey and I went to the drive in movie at the church parking lot later that night.  We watched the new Troll's movie.  (Brian and Tanner weren't interested, and Parker was hanging out with friends.)
Bryn and her comp were asked to do a Facebook live last Sunday.  She was kind of dreading it and had no idea how they were going to stretch it out to the 18 minute slot they were asked to fill.  She was adorable and they did a good job.  The video was on sideways the whole time...c'est la vie.

In other Sister Gwilliam news, the temples in Idaho are open, and we get to go up there when she goes through the temple next month!  I can't wait.
Aub and one of her many skin care steps she does regularly.

Tanner is actually playing a game?????  This is a miracle and definitely needed to be documented on the blog.  Sundays can be really long.  We have church from 9:00-9:40 am and the rest of the day is ours for the taking.
We usually have Family Home Evening right before or after lunch.  We have all afternoon to.....nap, blog, write emails, read, bake....the kids don't really love any suggestions I give.  Tanner usually plays some basketball and gripes that he can't play Xbox or watch TV.

We gather with cousins from about 6:30-8:30, and then we are home for a long night before bed.  Tanner was so bored he actually consented to play a game.  Really, this is a huge thing.
