Decemer 28th 2020-January 3rd, 2021

Well, I am about three weeks behind on keeping up with the weekly blog.  Here are a few pictures from the week after Christmas.  I honestly can't remember much of what happened.  The two biggest things are: Parker going w/ Cole and family to the lake (brrrrr--and he was missed.)  Becky and kiddos coming to town.
Before he left to the lake, I asked Parker to help clean out the fridge.  He was being extra w/ the face mask and the moaning.  I don't think any of the kids have ever helped w/ that before, and I probably should put them on the rotation at least once in their lives at home.
Aubrey received a Tie Dye kit for Christmas.  She did a shirt, Nike socks and a pillow case.  The first two of those turned out really cool!  (The pillowcase ended up being a mass of pinkish-purple mostly.)
Beck came to town, and it was so fun to see those kiddos!  Due to Covid, it has been over a year.  Sutton turned one while they were visiting so we had a little Sunday night celebration.
Grandpa heated the pool!  Tanner swam for maybe an hour, but Brit and Beck's kids stayed out ALL afternoon.  It was impressive.  You can tell by our outfits it was cold outside.

Brian is still off of work.  I loved that he recruited Tanner to help w/ wood dice.  Tanner was a little bored over the break.  He did have basketball practice several days.  He also had a group of friends from the team play some b-ball up at our church.  He and Aubrey hung out some in the evenings which was cute.  The dynamics always change when one kiddo (Park this time) is out of the mix.
Lauron, Aubrey, and Breena planned a New Year's Eve partyat Lauron's house.  Aub made these cute gifts for the girls.  She gave them little journals and pressed their names on these canvas bags.   she stuffed the bags with treasures like: scrunchies, nail polish and gum.

They were planning on dressing up fancy, doing their hair and makeup and having a photo shoot.  Then they were going to change into pjs and have a sleep over.  Christ and Ang invited Brian and I to come over for games.  Aubrey and Lauron were NOT pleased.  They wanted the entire house for their get together and they didn't want both sets of parents to be present.
La, Aub and Breena.  They borrowed two of Brinley's dresses and one of Morgan's.
Beautiful girls.  (Of course, if they were really going anywhere, we would have had Aubrey wear a jacket, and Chris and Ang would have had Lauron wear a longer dress!)
Sorry girls.  Bri and I did join in the game night.  Grandma and Grandpa Honey were there along with Kate and Joseph and David and Emily.  We played Family Feud and Fish Bowl (charades).  We had the most amazing spread of food and snacks.  The girls actually joined us for the charades game and of course enjoyed a few more snacks then the three of them planned.  It was a nice night.
We did an 11pm New Year's countdown, and then Brian and I headed home.
Here are a couple of pictures from our Sunday night gathering.  Parker was so pleased that Ella was giving him the time of day.  He said she usually ignores him.

And to wrap up the week after Christmas....here is Tanner looking model worthy wearing my coat to dinner.  He was asked to put a shirt on...silly boy.
And here he is modeling he and Parker's underwear.  He was in a silly mood one night and made a Tik Tok dance.  I guess a man has got to have dreams and goals.
