My 4th Great Grandmother

I want to share a little about my 4th great grandmother on my mom's side through her father's line.  Her name is Mary Elizabeth Hughes Jones.  She was one of the twenty charter member of the Relief Society.  Several years ago, when I was called as Relief Society President in the Odessa 1st Ward of the Odessa Texas Stake, my Uncle Alan sent me a note of encouragement and this information.

The picture below is the same information from the Nauvoo Relief Society Minute Book.  This is an image from the day the Relief Society was founded. (Originally named the Female Relief Society of Nauvoo) Elizabeth Jones was in attendance and her name is the third down in the left hand column. I found this picture on the JosephSmithPapers.org website.

This is a picture of her daughter, Mary Elizabeth Jones Hall.  She is my 3rd great grandmother.
