Parker's First Date...Kind of!

November 23, 2018
When Brinley turned 16, Brian brought her a rose and took her out on her first date.  When the topic came up on Parker's b-day about his first date being with his mom, he wanted no part of it.  I was trying not to be too offended.  However, once he realized it entailed eating out he was all for it.  We went to Olive Garden and then on a walk around the UTPB trail. I tried to give him reminders and advise on dating along the way.  We also talked about his friends, the possibility of moving to Utah, and how we both need to get outside and do something everyday.  He cracked me up the whole time. Sure love my boy.

Once again absolutely no cooperation for a picture before our outing...the turkey.

Finally!

So we had to stick with Gwilliam tradition (Erin Gwilliam that is...) and order dessert first.
It makes such a nice appetizer.  When I pulled out the phone to take a nice picture he
started making these totally expressionless faces.  I just kept snapping.

I also called the waitress over to let her know it was his birthday so they
could sing to him.  Parker was mortified and would turn
red over and over again just thinking of the possibility.  They were too busy to sing but she did comp the dessert.
