November 1-8, 2020

Brian went back to work on Monday, November 2nd.  He was beat the first couple of days but is doing fine now.  The presidential election was on Tuesday.  There is a lot of divisiveness & political unrest in our country.  They didn't announce a winner until Saturday.  Joe Biden will be our new president w/ Kamala Harris as VP.  Trump was a jerk and a bully so I am glad to see him go...but I am not glad to see a democrat in office...our country is kind of a mess.

This cute picture is of my brother Chris w/ his grand baby Christian.  It was nice to be back at our Sunday night gathering after having to quarantine for two weeks.
I've been working on my business a lot.  I have gone to the post office everyday to mail packages.  I ordered 100 more Santa Sacks...wish me luck!!  Also, I listed my cute Santa 2020 ornaments on my page and a ton were sold.  I followed Alison Prince's method and tried to build excitement before posting.  Then I posted w/ a story and created scarcity (on sale this week.)  Then on Friday I posted that there were only two days left of the sale and received several more orders.  It took some guts to do that last post especially.  I didn't want to annoy my friends on FB.  However, it was really cool to see the results.  Alison mentions it is a service to wrap up the sale.  Many may have planned on ordering but knew they had the whole week.  When you post the closing reminder, it helps customers take action.  It was cool to see it work!  I need to count but I think I've sold around 100 probably.  ($7 blank or $10 if I write on them.  I purchased them from China in bulk for 1.75 each.)

My friend Kaley took these beautiful photos for me.  I love her little model.

The kids come visit me in my office from time to time.  Tanner is looking good!
Had to include a picture of our Gwilliam cousins awesome Halloween costumes. They go all out and try to coordinate most years.  I think they are all characters from Nacho Libre.
Max, Kris, Henry, Eric, & Jack
Henry for the win!  Brian texted, "How did Henry end up w/ a pair of Parker's shorts?"  I thought it was hilarious.
We went to the PHS/OHS game on Friday night.  Aubrey brought Breena and had a great time.  (Tanner hooked up w/ friends once we got there.)  We were able to see Parker play!  Who would have thought that a few weeks ago he'd have surgery and now he is back on the field.  They moved him to outside linebacker.  He played great, and  he made several tackles.

So the worst part of this week...it's 1:30 on Sunday afternoon and I feel a little achy.  Is it Covid?  Do we need to quarantine again?  Have I exposed my parents?  I got up and went to church at 9:00 feeling fine and by 10:00 I realized I wasn't feeling 100%.   I don't feel horrible at all...but like a have a head cold...which is probably all it is.

Now my group can't go to Sunday night, and Aubrey can't babysit tomorrow for a family in the ward.  I told Brian he is going to need a crash course on my business.  I have three things listed on a deal site this week.  UGH.  I HATE THIS UNCERTAINTY.
