Football takes a lot of Parker's time. I would say, hands down, it the priority in his life right now. The workouts are grueling...but he loves it. This is his weekly schedule: arrive 45 minutes early to school everyday for football, watch film during part of lunch, 5th period workout, after school from 4:30-7:00 workout, Saturday morning watch film. I'm actually a little jealous of the coaches and how much they get to see MY boy. I do like that he is busy and in shape and working hard.
I also love how happy Parker is when he is playing football. Just look at the expression on his face in these first two photos. (He is #12.)
He's plays tight end and on special teams. We enjoy watching him play on Friday nights. This year they have had a ton of home games which has been so nice.
Wishing Grandpa could get on the field to take pictures...they only let the "official" team photographer though.
Permian pep rally pictures. Madison G, Austin J, Reese R, Kamryn C, Parker, and Ray'onna W
Harris S (a very large freshman!) and Park. They were going to look tough (not smile) but Harris said "we can't look tough--we are just white boys." Thank you Harris...I like Parker smiling much more that than his football stone face pictures.
Awe...Freshman year vs Jr year. He is a growing boy! I think he is about 6'1" and 170 lbs now.
