What Did You Do Today?

This meme is relatable.  Some days I have no idea what I've accomplished by 5 pm.  However, the past few days I have a few tangible answers.  I have been washing windows, deep cleaning bathrooms, and working on Mother's Day gifts.  Yea for having a few concrete things I can put forth as an answer.

I have really enjoyed washing windows.  I borrowed my dad's amazing window cleaning kit.  I listened to conference talks, and "Don't Miss This" scripture study lessons, and Harry Potter 7 while I worked.  It made the window cleaning fly by.  Washing the grime off the windows was very satisfying too.
I also coaxed Parker into going up on the roof and taking care of our skylights.  Woot woot!
One afternoon, Aub and Tanner played basketball up at church while I worked out in one of the rooms.  It was freeing to be somewhere besides home.
Also,Aubrey and I also started reading The Host together.  It is one of my all time favorite books.  I hope we make it through.  The last book we tried didn't last.  I can't really figure out exactly what books capture her interest.

I've been working on Mother's Day gifts for my mom and Joyce. They are personalized for each of them and turned out really pretty.  I am not going to post here just in case they read this before the open their gift.

I have also been designing these pillows.  I think they are adorable.  I listed them for sale on Markertplace but have not had a lot of interest.  I think partly due to Covid-19.  (I wouldn't buy a pillow from somebody right now.)  I also think the price point is too high.  However, I can't adjust it much or there is no profit on my end.  Hmmm.
Oh, and I trimmed Brinley's hair.

And then a couple of hours later I trimmed it again because I noticed her gradual V shape in the back was not gradual at all.

And then I trimmed it again the next day because one side was definitely longer than the other.

And then she said maybe she didn't want me to trim her hair anymore, and she would just wait until the salons were open again.
