BYU Bowl Game

The boys took a quick trip to Florida for the BYU bowl game this year.  They flew in on the 22nd and came home on the 23rd, right in time for our sibling gift exchange.

Grandpa was awesome to invite Brian, Parker and Tanner to fly out with him.  Tanner couldn't go because he had a basketball game, but Brian and Parker were all about it.  I made BYU masks for Grandpa, Chris and my three.  Gotta Rep the Y.  Here are a few pictures from their trip.

Flying three in a row is TIGHT.  Plus...there is absolutely no social distancing on planes.  Back in October when we flew to visit Brinlely, Southwest was leaving the middle seat open.  They aren't anymore though.  It's tough.  You have to make choices to protect but to also keep businesses afloat.
Joseph and Parker were roomies.  Bri said they started messing with each other first thing in the parking lot.  Pretty cute.  Joseph is five year older than Parker and a newlywed.  It's great having cousins.

Grandpa at FAU stadium in Boca Rotan, Fl.  They kept capacity at 20% so only 6,000 could attend in person.
BYU played UCF and dominated them.  The final score was 49-23.   I think it made it a little boring for those watching the game but still a cool experience.  Grandpa hailed an Uber after halftime and headed back to the hotel.  He and Brian shared a room so they have been teasing back and forth about that.  (They took a picture together on Christmas Eve.)
Overall a pretty cool experience and a very quick trip.  They made it home just in time for the sibling gift exchange at the Bird's.
