January 31-February 6, 2021

Grandpa was the man of the hour for this Sunday night.  I found him reclining on the floor in Ella's room playing w/ Christian.  I found him in the playroom closet w/ Aub and La, and he brought delicious mini S'more pies for everyone to make and eat for treats.  We love you Grampy!  (I think I may be the only one who refers to him as Grampy.  It has a nice ring to it.)

We were able to watch Aubrey's team win their closest match this year.  They played Wilson and Young.  Aubrey stayed in the entire game.  She has improved so much in this short season.  It has been really fun to watch her play.

Our favorite quarterback, Harper Terry, signed to play football at Eastern New Mexico. He was an outstanding QB at Permian.  He is the first quarterback at PHS to pass for over a thousand yards and rush for over a thousand yards in the same season.  He is such a good all around person.  He has been a loyal friend to Parker since 7th grade.  Harper has a strong work ethic.  I've mostly witnessed this with the multiple jobs he works during the school year and each summer.  He is polite, personable and kind.  I hope he does amazing things on and off the field in college.

I wanted to take a picture of these handsome brothers after Tanner's basketball game.  Tanner was having none of it.  

Aub was moved up to A team for their one game showcase.  During the season, only two spectators per athlete were allowed.  However, this game was played at a high school gym and look at her cheering section!  Gram, Park, Gramp, and Dad.  (and Mom...I was the photographer.)
