Aubrey was set apart on Tuesday night and began home MTC on Wednesday. Here are several pictures from the evening.
| Those who stood in the circle: Bishop/uncle Adam Bird, Brian, Grandpa Vore and President Mead |
I'm grateful President Hal Mead chooses to set missionaries apart in their homes. It was so comfortable. We had some light refreshments afterwards too, which made it feel like a celebration.
Noah, Gracie and Kaide are good buddies. Noah, who is only four, was reading a story to them. (He's a very smart little guy!) Also, we did have to set aside the books until after the blessing because these cute kiddos were distracted!
She has wonderfully supportive friends. Maci and Parker are friends from her high school days and Charlotte from college. Charlotte will be heading out to her mission in Idaho in August. The "little Vores" as we refer to them.
I still LOVE the family missionary flag stand Grandpa Gwilliam made for me one Christmas. Each flag represents a state or country where someone in our family has served a mission. (Well, we couldn't go back too far or there wouldn't be enough space, but these are flags from our childrens cousins, parents and grandparents.)
