Pictures

March 2019
These first pictures of Parker crack me up.  I showed him a video that someone posted on Facebook and he thought it was hilarious.  It's definitely boy humor...you've been warned!  (The video)  Brian was turning red and crying as well.  Everyone else thought it was funny but watching Parker (and Brian) made it hilarious.  Park came home after school three days in a row and watched it and just rolled.

I got to babysit Ella for just a little bit one morning.  She is adorable.  Here she is taking care of my grand baby, Chloe.

They had a game theme at the YM/YW fundraiser.  We had a delicious meal of potatoes w/ brisket on top.  Then everyone could play games, bid on the silent auction and pay to put people in jail.  Avery, Lauron and Aubrey playing Disney Trivia.

Yahtzee was happening on our side of the table.  We never finished because Parker got sent to jail.
He was the first one sent and he was playing tough.  Then he realized Bishop Ormsby was the one who put him in jail and the war began.
Parker sent Bishop to jail next but Bishop secretly paid to have Parker put right back in.  They were setting timers on their phones and then they put them away and started visiting.

Aub put these two in jail.  It cost $1 for every 2 minutes.

Then Aubrey got put in jail.  If you rolled doubles on your first turn you didn't have to stay.  Soon everyone was paying to put friends and family in jail and it became overcrowded.  They had to shut it down!

Bro Thompson was a great auctioneer.  I think the evening was a success which was nice because at this stage in life we are all in.  All four kids are in mutual right now and Brian is a 1st counselor in Young Men's program.  They each made a dessert to take and we came up with 4 items to donate. (Two temple picture from Grandpa, a neck massager and babysitting.)  We came early on Saturday morning to clean the church and then set up the gym.  We purchased a drawing, two desserts and made a donation for our dinner.  Then we stayed late to clean up.  Whew.  It was a long day.

And we made it to April!  This joke didn't pan out as well as I hoped.  Aubrey didn't pack chips on April 1st.   When I added some to her lunch, she apparently just threw them out without opening the bag.  (I was counting on her to at least donate them to a hungry friend at her table.)  Tanner and Parker both played it cool when they came home from school.  They didn't seem too affected.  I hope they will one day confess to being totally surprised or embarrassed or something.  Until next year!
