Throw Back Picts

My Dad has always been good to take lots of photos and keep albums over the years.  Lately he has been converting them to digital files, uploading to SmugMug, and sending a few pictures to me and my siblings along the way. 

Becky and I when she was about 6 and I was about 20.   This next picture is us at Nathan's wedding reception this year.  (I am on the left and 49.  Becky is soon to be 35.)  I told her she should flip the picture of us at the reception to match the order of the first picture, but she said it made her look like a pirate.  Crazy girl.  I guess she has one eye that squints more than the other.  I think because she is 14 years younger than her big sister and so gorgeous and in style, she should be willing to go with the pirate look.

This is sometime after my freshman year at BYU because my roommate Thelma and I had these awesome railroad overalls her dad found for us.

Angelique ended up marrying my older brother Chris.  This is a picture of us in the Provo hospital with their firstborn Adam.

Back when the planes landed on the tarmac and you went up a flight of stair to get to the terminal.  Also, back when family and friends could meet the planes.  I was pretty happy to see my mom after my 18 months in the California Arcadia Mission!  

We are lucky.  We get to face time Parker each week.  Back in the day, we called home twice a year: on Mother's Day and Christmas.  We were extra lucky in my mission because we got to call home on Father's Day too!

I think this is probably Dec 1996.  Brian flew to the big O a few days after Christmas to become better acquainted with the Vore family.  (My parents flew up to Provo in October to meet him.) 

We were married on March 15, 1997.  This picture is after the reception at my house in Odessa. Isn't' he so handsome?  I still love that huge smile and his beautiful blue eyes.  He's a keeper.  

I didn't remember this picture from Brinley's baptism photo shoot with Grandpa.  So sweet.  Love that he had us together in one.  She's so adorable.  (Sept 2008)
