My day today. I woke up at 7:15 a.m. and walked at 8:00 for about an hour at UTPB. It was really nice just to be outside, feel the breeze and see some nature all while exercising. I took Parker to workout at 9:15 and ran to the post office and to do some returns and last minute school shopping at Target. I ran home to grab a prescription for Parker's glasses and found Aubrey reading her scriptures in Brinley's bed. It made me so happy.
I picked up Parker about 10:30 and we headed to Chick Fil A to get him some food before we headed to Walmart to pick out frames for his glasses and order contacts. (The food stop was worth the $11.00. The boys tend not to eat breakfast and go full speed ahead with workouts and then mowing. However, sometimes they aren't very pleasant to be around when they aren't full. I wanted the eyeglass errand to be pleasant and it was.)
I stopped at home and gave Tanner a good morning greeting and pat on the head before heading to the bank. Wells Fargo was offline for several hours and I needed to transfer money from on account to another before a bill was automatically paid. The boys quickly finished their chores so they could get some Fortnite playing in before work.
Brian's truck and the trailer. I love how involved Parker and Tanner have been in the family business this summer.
At 12:45 Aubrey and I headed over to Gram and Gramp's for a back to school swim party. She invited 11 friends and 8 were able to make it. They were a pretty noisy and happy group...lots of screams, squeals and laughter. Right after the swim party we rushed home, showered and headed to orientation at Nimitz Middle School. My last orientation for the first year at middles school. I better not blink!

Brian took Parker to get his football pads and then Grandpa Vore took the boys school supply shopping and out to eat. That was pretty much our day today.
We switched spots (me on bottom) after a few minutes and had a nice snuggle on the chair while we visited with Grandpa and our family.
*We miss our girl in Brazil so much! We get a few updates and pictures on Instagram each day...but NOT enough! However, she is beaming in every single one...so Brian and I think she is doing just fine.
