We had a short but fun visit with Joyce and Jerry. We are finding it's a little trickier to take off in summer with a lawn care business. We flew in Friday night and enjoyed and helped with Kaitlyn's wedding and reception on Saturday. Sunday and Monday we were able to enjoy one on one grandparent time. Joyce cooked some delicious breakfast, dinners and desserts and spoiled us as usual. Jerry helped each of the kids make a beautiful pen out of a block of wood, taught some fun scripture lessons and enjoyed laughing and teasing with the grand kids.
Several months ago Grandpa made these awesome puzzles for a youth activity. He asked if Grandpa Vore would mind if he used one of his Lubbock Temple photographs and used that for the background. They are pretty impressive.
The kids had a race and Parker finished first.
Aubrey taught Grandma how to play California Nines.
Grandpa does amazing woodworking and he helped each of the kids make a pen out of a block of wood. They turned out beautiful.
