Conference Weekend

April 6-7, 2019

I love General Conference weekend.  Gathering as a family and focusing on what the prophet and our leaders have to share is a blessing.  I always have plenty to ponder and to put into action.  One thing I love that we did this time is listen specifically for counsel given and the blessings promised.  For a couple of the sessions I jotted down what we found on a poster board.  I love looking at those blessings promised.  They are beautiful.  I want all of them for my family and the best part is I know God wants them for us.   

Sunday morning session.  Nice to be all together.  Aub, Tanner and Parker missed some of Saturday due to refereeing soccer.

Aub took great notes and colored a lot in between taking notes.

I was sitting next to Parker and he was a fidgety mess.  I mentioned he should go get his magnetic beads.  It definitely helped.  I get it...it's hard for me to sit still without something to do too.

Bryn and Tanner sat together during the Saturday afternoon session.  

The Birds did this last year and I LOVED seeing the counsel given and blessing promised at a glance.  I put our posters up on our kitchen wall and plan on leaving it there for a couple of weeks.  I hope we can walk by and remember how we can obtain these wonderful blessings in our lives.
