Drowning in Brushes

Why do I do this to myself?  I get a "good idea" and start running and and running and running.  I saw this cute craft and thought, "I bet that would probably sell well.  Let me just put it up on Facebook Marketplace and see."

Now I have cleaned out every Dollar Tree in Odessa and Midland and have spent two solid days customizing brushes.  I went to bed at 1:00 am last night and worked all day today.  My craft room is an Absolute Disaster.  I have household items stashed in there to make room for Christmas decorations.  It has my Christmas wrapping supplies.  I  am using every surface and even had to move out in the hall to make room for this little endeavor.

The monogrammed brushes do make the perfect stocking stuffer or friend gift.  My new "clients" are pleased.  Several have started their order with two and then added eight more once they saw their finished product.

I finally had to take my little picture off Facebook because I couldn't find any more brushes.  Also, all the new notifications of those interested were interrupting my focus on trying to complete those already ordered.  Sadly, when I deleted my little ad, my conversations with about 20 people automatically deleted as well.  Ugh...conversations of me telling them I will let them know when I get more inventory or when I get back home and see what I have available, I'll get back to them.  I hate feeling like a flake.

It is nice to have a little extra money coming in at this time of year though.  I also really like crafting.  I just need to plan for two or three crafts rather than 50 plus.
