Sibling Gift Exchange

Brit and Adam usually host the sibling gift exchange.  (Sibling gift exchange plus Mom and Dad.)  However, due to the flu, we moved it to Kerry's shop.  Brit still headed it up though and planned a delicious dinner and fun activities.
We had a yummy spread: baked potatoes with pulled pork, salad, rolls, seven layer dip, hot chocolate bar and sugar cookies.
The sibling gift exchange has changed over the years but the last several years we do a white elephant type game.  We each purchase a gift for around $50.  It can be for a girl, boy or gender neutral.  We always have a fun variety.

This year a few of the items were: echo dot with a screen, wireless headphones, car wireless charger and the infamous Britney toaster, three in one charger, scuba mask, fancy seasonings for meat, a weighted blanket and advent calendar, barbecue cleaning supplies, silverware, heavy duty tool zipper pouches and ?  I think I am missing one...but that gives a general picture for posterity's sake.
Ang, Chris and Mom trying out the weighted blanket that was opened.
A camera view of our little group--wish Beck and Brian could have been a part of the gathering.
Brit modeling her scuba mask gift.  This will come in handy for Hawaii this summer!
Kerry, Nate and Dad setting up one of the gadgets...maybe the Echo Dot with the screen.
Britney put together a Saran Wrap game to play.  We had several prizes throughout: dollar bills, hand sanitizer, candy, lip balm, card games etc...  She also wrapped in  coal cards.  If you unwrapped a coal card you had to read the directions and then proceed.  You might have to unwrap with your eyes closed or behind your back.  Brian had to sing a Christmas carol for the rest of his turn.
The ball definitely stayed right in this area most of the game.  Nate, Beth, Quetta and Kerry scored.  Bri had several turns too.

We played if you rolled a 7 or an 11 the ball changed directions.  Once doubles were rolled, you had to pass the ball to the next person.  I don't think Adam touched the ball.

It was fun and funny and a little stressful to roll those dice or attempt to quickly unwrap the ball.
We had a great time together....until next year!
