Day One, Hello Sunshine

February 23, 2019
The weather in Florida was beautiful.  I think we need to just book a beach house there next time.  Even though we've had a pretty mild winter in the big O, it was just so nice to have blue, blue skies, water, and sunshine.

Beck made the shirts again.  We received tons of compliments on them.  Beth came up with the catchy logo.

Uncle Nate's toes!

The party bus is ALWAYS fun.  I especially like seeing all the cousins pair up and chat like crazy on the way to the port.  I was sitting on the second to the last row and had the party aisles behind me:  Griffin,  Hudson, and Braddock.  The were so loud!  Luckily my dad began taking pictures and I slipped into the seat by my mom.   We had a great visit, and the 7-9 year old boys were able to be silly and crazy but not in my ear.

Nate saw a change machine and was hoping to get some smaller bills for his $20.  He was stunned when $20 in coins started clanging out of the machine.  There was a penny pressing machine right next to the coin machine and he let the nieces and nephews make pennies.

Our ONE family  picture.  Mom fail...kid victory.  I seriously can't believe we didn't get more.  I just wasn't willing to fight the teens (boys mostly)...but know that I'm home I wish I would have.  I did talk Aub into taking a picture with me at this photo spot.

On the first afternoon the teens found a hot tub in the adult only section.  They came here often throughout the cruise to hang out.  (Charity and Park were illegal and got carded a couple of times.)
I loved that Dylan and Holden had and wore matching lobster shirts one night.
We ended each evening dining together.  We had several tables reserved for our family and we rotated who we sat by.  If we didn't eat together, we really would have very little contact on this huge ship. We would also briefly see each other during or after the evening shows.
