Sunday Night, February 17, 2019

We had Sunday night at the Bird's.  Because they need to get their kiddos to bed earlier, we usually only have it there in the summer or if we don't have school on Monday.  However, it's a favorite spot.  The layout of their main room next to their play room lets everyone be in close proximity but   The adults can visit.  The kids have plenty of room in the playroom or they can hang with the adults.

We celebrated February birthdays.  Charlotte and I are born on February 14th...40 years apart!  Everyone brought gifts for Char and we enjoyed ice cream Sundaes.  Grandpa also gave out a small gift for each grand kid.  It is a little piece of marble from the Lubbock, Tx temple and he had it encased in glass.  I think they were redoing a wall and Grandpa rescued some of the marble from the dumpster.  I love the gift and hope my kiddos will treasure it for all it represents.  (Heavenly Father's house, Gram and Gramp's mission, eternal families, the gospel, service and more!)

Holden, Tanner, La and Aubrey are good friends and do really well mixing it up as a group.  (Aubrey was playing with Ella when I took this picture).  Charlotte is the cute six year old.

Parker set his on a shelf in his closet. The boys share a room and they really don't have
any place to put stuff in their room--just a small dresser top and a shared nightstand.
They do have a nice sized closet though and Parker is really good about staying organized.
