Disney Cruise Finale

Feb 22nd-March 2nd
I was going to do a post a day for the cruise.  We have tons of photos and lots to share.  However, at this rate I will be two months behind on this blog if I don't just wrap this trip up.  We had a great time.  So thankful to my parents who made it possible!

Bri and the kids did a snorkeling excursion in St. Thomas.  (There were only 5 slots so I shopped a little in town.) They had to brave a 45 minute boat ride in a big wind and rain storm.  Brian was sure it would be cancelled.  It wasn't though and they got to see a shipwreck and some colorful fish swimming near it.

We saw a really cool magic show one evening.  (Kyle Knight and Mystie).  Holden had her sign his forehead in sharpie.

This was pretty hilarious.  For Star Wars night Brian, Nate and Kerry dressed up as Chewbacca.  (courtesy of Nate and JCPenneys)  They got a ton of attention and lots of kids and adults were asking to get their pictures taken with them.

Star Wars was a really fun addition to the cruise.  The invasion was impressive and the next day the characters did little vignettes at the pool and would interact with the guests.

How cute are these two families?!  The Merks

The Birds

These guys (don't know what they are called...not Stormtroopers) would take people captive or tell the crowd to step aside.  It was pretty fun.

Selfie time

Hanging out in the room.  November 2017 we had two rooms but they were across the hall from each other.  I felt like I never saw Tanner and Parker.  This time we were next door and connecting and I LOVED it.  I felt like I got to see them occasionally at least.

Park and Griff

Bryn and Perry (with Tanner, Dylan and Blair in the background)

Castaway Cay was fun because we were all together.  All of the kids worked on sandcastles.  Many went snorkeling.  Our group went jet skiing in the ocean...so fun!  Kerry, Quetta and Ang ran the 5k.  (Others may have too.)  No traditional bike ride this year.  Grandpa thought his phone got stolen and we all felt sick.  Luckily he just put it in my backpack (that is identical to his.) I think Castaway Cay was my family's favorite port this time around.

One day Tanner will cooperate.  I hope his future wife enjoys all of his goofy pictures.

My handsome and huge boy.

La, Aubrey and Ang went snorkeling and saw lots of cool fish and two enormous sea turtles.  They were as big as Aubrey.  I went a little bit after them and saw some cool fish and a stingray.  Gram and Gramp went after lunch saw absolutely nothing.  If we go again we are all going to try to remember 1. it's worth going snorkeling on Castaway 2. go earlier in the morning.

Handsome big boys with cute little cousins.  (Joseph and Char,  Benja and Perry, Park and Ella)

Goodbye Disney Cruise.  It was so much fun! (Ella w/ Daisy)

Fun....and pretty exhausting too!  (I had a few pictures of others knocked out on the way home but I was afraid I'd be in big trouble for sharing.  Holden won't ever find out...right?!)
