Black Magic, Baseball, and Prom. Oh My!

Brinley has been working her tail off at Black Magic rehearsals.  She was gone all last weekend and from 5-10 pm every weeknight.   It was so fun to see all of  Brinley's hard work pay off.  Black Magic was amazing.  The band and the vocalists did great.  They had the Panther Paw dance team in the show too and they added a lot of pizzazz.  So much work went into the making of this show.  I am glad Brinley had the opportunity to be part of this group her Senior year!
This picture was flashed on two HUGE screens at the show.  They were introducing the stars of "Singing with the Stars."

My camera finally focused but only caught part of the picture.  Aren't these two cousins just beautiful?

Aub and Bryn  (Poor Aubrey coughed into her jacket throughout the entire show.  She hasn't had asthma in several years but it has definitely flared up this week.  Back to inhalers for her, poor girl.)

The performers line up and their fans can go through and greet them.

The Birds came to support!

The Bonifays are amazing to always come support.  The Thompsons. the Browns and Gram and Gramp came too.  No pictures though.
Park and the girls.  Wish he would have smiled instead of going for the face of stone football pose.

Tanner's baseball is in full swing.  It's been a bummer of a season for him.  His first team never materialized and they ended up dividing those 14 boys onto other teams.  His new team had been practicing a few weeks already and had established positions.  Tanner is definitely not getting the playing time he has in the past.  He is very athletic and usually one of the top players on any team he is a part of.  It is a good life lesson....for Brian and I too....but it's still a bummer.

I wasn't happy with his cooperation for these pictures so he gave me this one!
And this one.

Charity asked Parker if he would be willing to take her friend to Prom.  Michelle is from Italy and really wanted to have the American Prom experience.  I was surprised and impressed that Parker said yes.  This is actually his first date and he had a nice time.

When Parker's suit came back from the dry cleaner and bow tie came in the mail, he surprised me by trying everything on.  He looked so sharp and cleans up nicely!!!
The Vores were cute and purchased the boutonniere and corsage for Michelle and Parker.  They were glad she had a date for the evening and wanted to help out.  They also bought her prom ticket.  We gave Parker money for a prom ticket and for dinner.  This stuff adds up!

I think it made it fun going in a group.  The girls were all good friends from gymnastics.  After pictures at Charity's, they headed to Barn Door to eat and then to the dance.

(Her host parents weren't able to make it off work for the photo shoot so she and Parker stopped by her house to meet them before going to the dance.)

Aubrey reffed soccer ALL day.  I picked her up at 5:30 and hurried home.  She took a quick shower and we were at Chris and Ang's for pictures by 6:00.

My handsome boy.
Cute cousins at the dance.  (Notice Parker has ditched his coat and tie!)
