Permian Prom #2 happened this weekend.  Some of the students did not like the date for the official Prom so they organized their own Prom and called it the Mxr.  Brinley had a blast and was so glad she went.  She said everyone was dancing and it was fun to hang with friends.  Morgan said it was the best dance she has ever gone to.  They were fans.

She and Morgan made a day of hanging out and getting ready.  They started with makeup at 1:00 and moved on to hair.  I loved that around 5:00 they decided to go to Rosas for dinner with Prom hair and makeup but in their pajamas.  Crazy girls.  Grandpa was amazing, as usual, and met them for an official photo shoot to make the evening more memorable.  I can't believe our girl is graduating in two weeks.

Had to get the traditional getting ready in Bryn's bathroom photo. 

Then we had to do a photo shoot at Jay's house in the pjs.  That's what teen girls do...mine at least...fun photo shoots!

I forgot to add this picture last week when Parker went to Prom but had to just show the difference in Prom preparations for boys vs girls.  So unfair.  (Although the girls definitely tend to go overboard.)  This was Parker last week 30 minutes before he needed to leave for Prom.

I wanted to get a picture of Tanner and Bryn.  He wasn't cooperating.

There might have been a little bribe of chocolate to get that cooperation.  Worth it for sure.

The beautiful girls with their back packs and water bottles and chargers heading to the car.  The girls both found their dresses for great deals.  Morgan found her for $65 and Brinley bought hers at Ross for $25!  (She went to Dillards later in the week and found the same dress originally priced at  $183 and on clearance for $113.)  Her dress came with  very thin straps and I really did not like how bare it was.  I am really glad Brinley was willing to try to make it more modest.  She found fabric that would match and Angelique was very kind to take time out of her day to sew on small sleeves/straps.
