One awesome thing happened at the game. South Lake Carroll raised over $22,000 to present to the families of the victims of the shooting a few weeks ago. AMAZING. (Brian says he is rooting for them to win state this year.) I hope we, as individuals and as a community, can be as thoughtful in the future.
We finally listed Parker's car. He has been mowing the Brown's house and taking care of their pool since they moved mid-summer. He never drove the car. It has just been in our driveway. We wanted him to put in the work before selling it. He's done a good job of making the time to take care of their land, and now he's a rich man!
Bryn "almost died" from inhaling foam at the True Blue homecoming slip and slide event. First she inhaled the foam up her nose. Then when she opened her mouth to breath, she inhaled it in her mouth. She said there were five terrifying seconds were she couldn't breathe at all. Other than that little incident, I think she had a blast.

Brinley loved being at the BYU-USC game. The win made it so much more exciting. She, along with most of the student body, stormed the field.
The boys went on the temple trip. (Only those 14 and up went with the ward due to a dance in Lubbock that night.) They reminded me of two missionaries (kind of grumpy missionaries) heading to their car. I'm so glad they went.
Her model of a cell. Other than me taking her to Hobby Lobby to purchase the foam sphere, she just scavenged through the craft room and went to work. Love this independent girl who just takes care of business.
Brian and I wrapped up Saturday night with a date. Chris and Ang joined us at Pot Belly sandwiches and then Orange Leaf for dessert. It was really nice visiting with them and I especially enjoyed just going out with my guy for the night.
