Volleyball

This week I went to Aubrey's volleyball game while Brian went to Tanner's football game.  I have never attended a Middle School or High School game and I was surprised by how fun it was.  The crowd was involved.  There were lots of high fives and cheers between the girls.  The gym was loud!  I was glad I had a pair of earplugs handy to dull the noise just a bit.  Mostly I just enjoyed watching my girl play.
I love her embarrassed look as I snapped a couple of pictures during warm ups.
She is a spiker and her position rotated in and out of the game a lot.  She did great.  Only two or three balls came her way and when she hit them over the net the other team was not able to return them.  Woot woot!
Wilson and Young killed us in the first set.  Nimitz won the second and it was so close for the last set.  I think the final was 28-26.  The girls were so cute celebrating the win: jumping and yelling and screaming and running all over the gym.
I was selfishly glad Gram came because it gave me a friend to visit with and cheer with throughout the games.
Go Admirals!
