Speaking of Volleyball...

We purchased football decals for the boys from the booster club and I wanted to make a decal for the van for Aubrey for volleyball.  Simple, right?

For me, unfortunately, no.  It took me forever.  Hours and hours.  First I purchased a cool volleyball svg from Etsy to make my life easier.  Then I had a little trouble downloading it.  Then I had to figure out how to curve the text around the ball.  Then I had to get it to stay.  My skills are just soooo basic.

Then I printed the ball on white and the lettering on blue and weeded everything.  (Weeding is when you separate the vinyl design from the vinyl you don't need.)  Next I placed everything on the contact paper and cleaned the back window.  And then ta-da, I was finished! (But sadly I was not...)
I was pleased with this cute decal until I realized the blue just didn't show up on the tinted window.  I also wanted the lettering to be thicker...so it was back to the drawing board.  It literally took be two more hours.  Why???  I have no answers.

I want to document this because one day I am going to be a speedster and have this all down.  Also, even though it took a long time I really am glad to be crafting and learning.  It's good for my soul.
