Brinley Kate

Our Brinley Kate is a busy girl.  She is absolutely loving BYU.  The academic side of things is good and the social side of things is even better!  She has amazing roommates, great friends and lots and lots of things scheduled on her social calendar each week.
She's been to several football and volleyball games this semester.
She and her roomies were Care Bears for Halloween.
She is definitely keeping up in her classes and probably ruining the curve on tests for her fellow students.  She is loving her American Sign Language class and really enjoying her intro to Speech Pathology class.  The part she is most excited about is the social though.  She is loving being around so many like minded young adults.  She can have good clean fun everyday with lots of friends her age.
SLC on a Friday night.  Notice she is wearing her knew "winter coat."  I am not convinced it is going to do the trick.  She say it is fur lined though and very warm.
We communicate almost daily.  We may miss a day but make it up with a few points of contact on the next day.  Sometimes we talk on the phone, often we text or leave long rambling Marco Polos for each other.  (recorded video chats)  We share funny memes with each other....like the ones below.

Midterm trauma

We wouldn't know...because there is no way either of us is giving up chocolate.

She tells me about her silly escapades. (There are lots of them.)  She tells me about the cute boy possibilities. (It varies from week to week.)  She tells me about her social and academic goals.  She tells me about her not so good eating habits and laundry frustrations and weekly temple trips.  (I think the new low is when they needed to go to the store.  They had no fruits or veggies.  They didn't even have peanut butter.  She scraped together a hot dog on a tortilla with a slice of swiss cheese.  Pretty pathetic.)
This picture is from a Provo City Center temple trip with friends.  She goes at 7:30 every Wednesday morning to the Provo temple.  Last week it was 9° and her hair froze when she left.

And because it is only November 3rd, I sent her this:
And she responded with these:

Twenty four days until we get to see our Brinley Kate again!  I can't wait!
