Aub was adorable. She rushed home from basketball practice and started loading up tons of supplies so she could adequately pamper me. She thought of everything. She brought makeup, nail polish, body scrub, lotion, brushes, hairspray, a straightener, conditioner, a mirror, towels, containers and more. She was very excited to treat me to a night of relaxation.
She had a bucket of very warm water for me to soak my feet. Then she used some body scrub and lotion to rub my legs and feet. It was very relaxing! (When it came time to move my feet in or out of the tub of water, she didn't want me to do it at all. I was not to lift a finger...or a toe in this instance.) The room was kind of cold, and I felt very lucky that Aub planned a hot soak for my feet.
She brought me refreshments from a very nice spread the leaders had set out. She also did a face massage/scrub on me and did my makeup. This girl knows hair and makeup. She owns more makeup and makeup brushes than I have ever owned. She is also diligent about watching tutorials and practicing. (Even though she is so good at makeup, she only wears a little mascara to school or church. She is only 12. She just enjoys playing around with it though.) I wish I would have taken an after picture because my eye makeup looked great.
Avery pampered her grandmother Sandy. We all loved her rainbow hair.
This is Trinity pampering her mother Melanie. She did her makeup and hair.
Each girl brought their own ideas, supplies, and personalities to take care of their moms. Katelynn brought a comfy chair for her mom and did a mask. We were all quietly visiting with our girls and each other. Katelynn did not want her mother to talk! If Amber joined in a conversation, Katelynn would tell her very adamantly to quit talking and to relax! It was kind of fun and funny to see the different mother daughter duos together.
I think everyone had a really fun and relaxing night. At the end, the leaders gave each girl and mom this cute lip scrub set. Thanks my Aubrey Joyce for taking such good care of me and helping me feel pampered and loved.
