Taco Villa Monday/ Memorial Day

We didn't plan anything for Memorial Day.  My mom and I had been under the weather.  Ang was planning a barbecue and swim the next week when Joseph, Kate (his girlfriend that we are all anxious to meet) and Benja come home from BYU.  We decided to call it good.  It's nice to keep it low key sometimes.

Of course it was Monday and the Taco Villa gathering must go on.  We pulled up to a very empty parking lot.  I think everyone was home grilling.  I walked in a smelled that Taco Villa smell (gag) and regretted my part in discouraging a backyard activity.  We had a big group though.  The husbands were off work and able to attend.  The King cousins were able to join in too.  We had a good time gathering in our little area in the back and visiting.  Also, we were able to Skype our family missionaries: Erin Vore and Briana King.  It was awesome to see their radiant faces.

Lft side: CJ, Danielle, Gram, David and Kerry  Rt side: Ashley, Gramp, Laurel, Brian with Ang, Lincoln and Lauron standing

This girl table was pretty sweet: Char and Ella joined the big girls.  Brinley, Morgan (a friend), and Charity.

Hudson, Parker, Tanner and Holden.  The boys table is always dangerous.  This week I think Holden put a hot sauce packet in the bottom of Lauron's drink.  He was sure to put her straw in the packet so she'd get a big sip of hot sauce when she decided to drink her coke.

Brit, Braddock and Adam  (Miracle picture, Adam isn't closing his eyes!)

Aubrey spent the night with Lauron and they had an early morning swim...they came with wet hair.  I think they spent the night 3 out of the first 4 summer nights.  When Laurel Linde King and I were this same age, we spent many summer days and nights together.   Cousins are the best.
