Aubrey is killing me. She is obsessed with skin care products and is willing to spend way too much, in my opinion, on them. Recently she has earned some money by babysitting, dog watching, painting and mowing our lawn. She promptly turned around and spent $60 on skin care. She also has a few more products she wants but they are out of stock. Parker just shakes his head and asks "Why??? You don't even have any pimples or acne?" Aubrey insists her skin care routine is the reason she doesn't.
Here are she and Lauron painting at La's house. They worked for several hours over 3 days to finish this. I love it when my teens have ways to work hard and make some money. They learn the value of work, and then they are able to pay tithing, put some away in their missionary fund and spend the rest however they choose.
When Aubrey's latest skin care products came in the mail, she explained each one to any family member who would listen. When I realized she purchased ROSE WATER, I really had to bite my tongue. She really was so pleased with her purchases though.
She gets a lot of her suggestions of the most important products from her cousin Lauron or from a guy named Hyram on social media. One of Hyram's catch phrases is, "I may be gay, but skin care is not."
