Sunday

We had a small church sacrament meeting on Sunday followed by ward council.  The Bishopric members sat spread out on the stands.  Brother Dickman and his wife on the back left seats.  Bishop Ormsby in the front middle seat, and Brother King and his wife on the back right seats.  We had about 18 other members in the congregation spaced out throughout the chapel.

We were encouraged to wear masks and all but two people did.  The doors were held open for us as we entered the building and hand sanitizer was available.  We listened to the hymns but did not sing them.  The four young men present did a nice job of preparing and passing the sacrament with the added safety measures of gloves, hand sanitizer and a new way of passing.  We didn't have the Relief Society/Sunday School hour.

It was different and yet wonderful.  The music brought me peace.  I loved being among my fellow ward members worshiping together.  The testimony meeting was uplifting.  I appreciated the strength and faith shared in the testimonies given.

I'm so glad we are starting to go back!  Our ward is divided into three Sundays for the first phase of reopening so we go again next week.  My heart is happy.

Sunday Night
Brinley w/ Gus, Tanner, Lauron and Charlotte

We had our full group.  The Birds are back in as well as Adam and Megan Vore and their two little boys.  Woo-hoo!

The Bird cousins waited outside with binoculars for 30 minutes trying to spot cousins arriving.  How cute is that?  Then all the kids migrated into the house and a big Nerf war ensued.
Char, La and Hud
Char was a non-gun carrying attacker in the battle.
Ang, Me w/ Ella, Brinley w/ Christian.  Christian is almost a year old and this is the first time she has been able to hold him.  He is a sweet one.
