Our girl is really going on a mission. Since coming home from school, she has set up a little space in the office. First she wrapped up her classes in there but now she uses it for her mission prep room. I told her she could reorganize/ redecorate to make it her own, but she has been just working around what was there.
I love walking in the office and seeing the chaos and focus of her space. She has these scriptures up on the map and has been memorizing them. Her scriptures and Preach My Gospel book and notes are spread out on the desk. There are usually a few random things spread out on the floor too, like colored paper and shoes.
Brinley spends a few hours in there everyday studying the Bible and The Book of Mormon and preparing to be a missionary...and her Missionary Training Center (MTC) hasn't even begun. She is rereading the Old Testament. (She read it the first time when she was in 3rd or 4th grade, and I think again when she studied it in seminary. She has always been a focused girl.) She has also been practicing the piano for at least an hour or two everyday. I will miss hearing her play and hope she has some opportunities as she serves.
We will miss this girl! (And I love it when my kids pile up together on the couch.)
Tanner snuggles with her everyday. These pictures are just from this past week. I love watching these two together. He teases her about her double chin, which he named Harold. She teases him about his barely existent mustache, Pedro. He likes to argue and debate. She brings out his calm. They are cute siblings. This is kind of a disjointed post...mostly I wanted to post these cute pictures of Bryn and Tanner. He missed her when she was gone for two weeks.
