This week Brinley and I have walked the UTPB trail a couple of times. It's about 2 miles and I love having that time to visit with my busy girl. We imagine what BYU will be like for her, talk about her friends, her job, YSA etc.... She is a great listener when it comes to what's going on in my life as well.
In the evenings here it doesn't cool down much. It will be 102° during the day and about 98° at 8:30 when we walk. Scorching but still worth it. I tried to snap this beautiful sunset, but of course the picture doesn't do it justice.
And then there was this huge, hairy, oh so lovely tarantula along our path. Eeeeh. Bryn was brave and put her hand by it so we could try to document it's size, but it was scampering away. Just like the sunset, this last picture does not do it justice!!!
