Last Summer Day

We ended summer with a bang.  Tanner had morning workout and then hung out at Tate's house with a group of friends all afernoon and evening.  They played football in the yard and spent a lot of time on the trampoline playing a ball game.  They ended the evening with pizza and a little bit of Xbox.

Parker had football and more football, of course.  He then hung out at the Jacobo's with Austin and friends until curfew at 11:00.

Aubrey had her traditional back to school swim party at Gram and Gramp's.  She made some brownies, and we picked up pizza, chips and drinks.  The girls were happy and kind and engaged the whole time.

Bryn and Morgan spent the day together.  They are such good friends and just have fun being together.  I will miss having Morgan over here so often.  Morgan and I have agreed to cry together this fall as we adjust to Bryn's absence.

I'm not sure what all they did but I walked in on this loveliness.  Morgan was doing Brinley's makeup blind.  Later they pulled out a puzzle and turned on a movie.
On the way to Brian's birthday dinner, we stopped by these two cuties' lemonade stand.  They were adorable.  It was 6 pm and still 101° outside.   I realized, with gratitude, that this was the first summer in years we haven't had a lemonade stand at our house.  Woot woot!
