Birthday Boy

On Friday the 16th we celebrated Brian's birthday with gifts in the morning and a dinner date at Salt Grass in the evening.  (Just the two of us for dinner.)   He is the best: kind, supportive, funny, encouraging, hardworking, and helpful.  He is also a big tease and can be very witty.  He also has his share of dad jokes. (Although the kids are quick to say that my jokes are the true dad jokes...they are really bad.)

Aub sleepily walked up to Brian Friday morning, gave him a hug and said "Happy Birthday Dad, I'm cold."  He replied, "Hi Cold. I'm Dad."  See...perfect sign in honor of his special day!

I love this smile on Tanner.  He usually smiles and laughs this way....just not for a picture.

The girls went in together and gave Bri Hershey's Hugs and Kisses plus a really sweet card.
