Odessa All-Ward Swim Party

On Wednesday we had our yearly church swim party at the Sherwood pool. It was so much fun and I didn't hear any complaints from the boys about having to go to church that night.  Tanner invited four friends and Brian brought that group as soon as their summer football camp finished.  Parker invited his group but even though they couldn't make it, he was looking forward to the party.  I forgot to tell Brinley about it.  I think she would have come but she had made other plans.  Aubrey hung out with Lauron and Holden most of the night.
Sherwood is a great little water park.
They all swam, did tricks off the diving board and enjoyed making large human chains down the slide.  The family swim party is fun for me in a different way now that my kids are older.  I don't need to stay with them or watch them for safety.  I was able to relax and just visit with Britney and several friends from the different wards.

Towards the end of the night Bishop Ormsby and about twenty teens had tag game, Infected, going throughout all parts of the pool.  It was kind of fascinating to watch a huge mass of bodies explode into different areas.  Luckily most of the small children were done swimming by this point because they really did infect and take over wherever they went.

Until next year...
