The Weekend, Aug 2nd-4th

Tan had a Young Men's campout.  They were going cliff jumping at Buffalo Trail Scout Ranch.  They camped on'Friday night and hiked to the cliffs the next morning.  Sadly the water wasn't deep enough and they headed home.  (The YM did have a vote on either going repelling or going home.  Tanner voted home.  Crazy kid.  Repelling is amazing.)
A little welcome home love on Sunday when we were all back together.
Brinley went to junction for a YSA kayaking trip.  She rode up with three friends and had a fun weekend hanging with everyone who attended.
Tanner R, Brinley, Maren S, Emma K, and Tanner B
Parker went to the lake with Austin.  He had a blast riding the jet skis.  He got them up to 71 miles an hour.  I hope he survives his teen years.  We need that frontal lobe to develop more quickly.

That left Brian, Aubrey and I home for the weekend.  Aub had Breena over for several hours on Friday.  They were busy girls and hung out very independently all day making dance videos, playing volleyball, playing ping pong and I'm not sure what else.  That left me free to Shutterfly my day away.  I worked a lot on my dad's book on Friday and Saturday and was able to finish several more pages.  On Saturday morning I delivered a little care package together for a missionary in our ward who had a bike accident.  I also had a massage scheduled because I was going on two weeks with a huge crick in my neck.  It definitely helped and was very relaxing as well.

Saturday Aubrey and Brian went out to Kermit to work.  Aub helped rake while Brian mowed.  He was glad to have her help.  With Tanner home early from his camp out, we decided to have a family date at Mamasitas.  The food was just okay but it was nice to be together.  It was a pretty good weekend but so weird too with everyone off doing their own thing.  Such is life at this stage I guess.
