Media Day

The boys had Media Day at Permian last weekend.  They took team pictures and parents were there buying car decals and Mojo gear.  The Freshman team had a scrimmage.  Tanner was not very cooperative with pictures but I was able to get a few of Parker.
Tanner trying on his helmet at home.  He basically threatened me with my life if I tried to get a picture of him at PHS.  He is my child who thinks he was hatched from an egg.  He did well in his scrimmage though.

They play at Ratliff Stadium which is huge and spectators are in the stadium.  It was nice to be a little closer
I had to use the restroom and luckily was able to slip in near the training room.  I was surprised at the walls covered in football pictures from each decade.  They also had  a Hall of Fame wall and a Friday Night Lights wall.  (The book was written about Permian High school football when I was a Sophomore at Permian.)  There were a few kids in the halls so I tried to quickly and discreetly take a few photos.

Permian's indoor practice facility.  Insert HUGE eye roll.
Some of Park's best friends.  I wish Cole was in this picture too.  They were lined up by number and I think he is sixty something.  Kayden B., Austin J., Harper T., Parker G., and Reese R.
Parker is playing tight end on Varsity this year.  Tanner is playing slot on Freshman white.
Here is to a busy fall full of football!
