We stayed at the Ideal Beach Resort in two condos across the hall from each other. They worked great for our big group. There were two rooms on the bottom floor of each unit and then a loft layout with lots of beds and a bathroom on the top floor. Our family had a room on the first floor with a queen bed and then bunk beds with a twin on top and full on bottom.
Check out that view! (We were in the condo across the hall and had a view of the parking lot.) Lft-rt: Macy, Keith, Eric, Lisa, Jerry and Joyce. Lisa is Keith's girlfriend. She was very easy to talk to and seemed to fit right in. We are glad Keith has a nice lady in his life.
Tanner, Jack and Caroline The ladder to the loft was pretty sweet.
Conner found a spot were he could be a part of the group and not be overcrowded.
Henry is eight going on eighteen. He is all spunk, super athletic and likes to be a part of everything. He actually fits in pretty well with the teens and young adults.
Karol did a great job planning this reunion. I felt like it was the perfect spot. Plenty for the kids of all ages to do: mini golf, swimming in the pool or lake, 9 square, b-ball, v-ball and more. We each were in charge of one meal. She and Michael made tacos the first night. Brian and I did hot subs for lunch on Sunday.
Kris and I hanging out with our college bound girls. Macy is going to USU next week. Brinley heads to BYU in two weeks.
Check out the love in this love seat. Griffin, Keith, and Bri with Blake and Conner in the background. Glad Griffin felt comfortable enough to share with Keith. (Knowing Keith, I am sure he wiggled his way in. Notice his hand on Griffin's knee. Welcome to the fam Griffin!)
Caroline, Karol, Joyce and Emily
We weren't able to take a group picture because Kris and her two oldest left before the Jeff Gwilliam family arrived. Denise and Lindsey both had a very short visit. Lindsey had to leave for soccer. We didn't bring Parker because he had mandatory football. Sam wasn't there this year because he is still serving a mission in Fiji. I wish it wasn't as disjointed but it was still wonderful to be together.
