Walking with Aub Daub

The other day I asked Aub if she was going to be my walking partner once Brinley moved to BYU.  She proclaimed, "Mom, I ALWAYS want to walk, but you NEVER want to walk with me."  Actually, I would say she is not a big fan on walking at this point.  I often go on evening walks with the boys and lately longer ones for exercise with Brinley.  When I ask Aubrey, she usually isn't interested.  I think that will change as she gets older. However, I did make a point of inviting her on our next UTPB walk.  Bryn's Instagram post described it soooo well!

We all visited and I had fun with my girls.

Towards the end of the walk she needed to tie her shoe.  I teased her about sitting down to do it.  She definitely wanted to draw it out.  When we finished the walking loop and when Aubrey saw the car she sighed and said, "that was awful."  I was surprised and asked her what was awful.  "THE WALK!"  We love our Aub Daub.  She brings the spunk!
